The CC installer keeps giving me an error. I just tried to update to the new 15.0.1, to see if that would clear things up. I like CC 2018, just need it to work properly. Just wish Adobe could pump out an update here quick. I've been crippled with the memory stuff (having to constantly clear RAM, the stupid overlay issues of not being able to right-click on my second screen, etc.). I waited a couple months after High Sierra was released before updating to it, solely because I didn't want it to affect my AE stuff. Just a quick note, you have to directly contact Adobe using the support "Chat" to ask them to give you an installer file for AdobeAfterEffects17AllTrial and AdobeMediaEncoder14AllTrial and youll need AdobePremierePro14AllTrial if you want to be able to use dynamic link between Premiere still. It's the exact same old after effects experience: slow, laggy, no real-time playback, except its 100 times better because it doesnt crash my entire system after 2 minutes of use. Once a parameter has been chosen, a Text Animator will be applied to the text. Click the button to the right of the word Animate and choose a parameter to animate. To the right of the text layer parameters ( Text) look for the word Animate. There is a huge memory leak that no one is able to discover and "turning off multi frame rendering" does nothing to help the issue.īut I found a fix! I reverted to 2020 and now everything is working perfectly again. Text layers have their own set of parameters in addition to the normal transform options for the layer. Latest versions of After Effects 20 are causing system instability, using up 58GB of RAM and then freezing the entire computer even when the software is just idling in the background.
